Requirements

  • 1–2 year of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or a hands-on work environment
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn assembly processes
  • Ability to safely use hand tools and basic power tools with instruction
  • Ability to read and follow basic drawings or work instructions with support
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow directions
  • Reliable attendance and a strong focus on safety

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic mechanical assembly tasks such as fastening components, installing brackets, and assisting with subassemblies
  • Use hand tools and basic power tools under guidance and supervision
  • Assist with electrical work including wire routing, labeling, and preparation for termination
  • Support body and interior assembly activities such as panel installation, surface prep, sealing, and material handling
  • Follow work instructions, drawings, and verbal direction to complete assigned tasks
  • Conduct self-checks of completed work to ensure it meets basic quality expectations
  • Complete required production checklists, logs, and documentation accurately
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with safety and 5S standards
  • Escalate issues related to quality, fitment, safety, or unclear instructions to the supervisor or lead technician
  • Learn and develop skills to meet expected takt time and productivity standards
