About The Position

Under general supervision, this role involves assembling components such as sub-assemblies, manual components, and electrical components for a variety of products. The assembler will prepare and process electrical and mechanical components, work from process instructions and test procedures, and monitor documentation to meet quality requirements. This position requires adherence to production build rates, schedules, and cycle times, as well as interfacing with manufacturing systems. The role utilizes various tools and is responsible for set-ups, work preparation, clean-up, and quality assurance of their own work and work area. Meeting work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends, is also a key aspect of this role.

Requirements

Ability to lift/carry 10-50 lbs. on a frequent basis depending on product line, may rarely lift/carry 50-75 lbs.

Responsibilities

Assembles components that may include sub-assemblies, manual components and electrical components and all other related components to contribute to completion of a variety of products
Prepares and processes electrical and mechanical components for assigned product lines
Works from process work instructions and test procedures to complete tasks along with monitoring and recording related documentation to meet quality requirements
Follows production build rates, schedules and meets required cycle times
Interfaces with manufacturing systems using computers or other electronic devices as required
Uses a variety of tools that may include, but are not limited to: manual and power hand tools, pneumatic tools, test equipment, presses, and measuring and cutting devices
Responsible for set-ups, work preparation, clean up, and quality assurance of own work and work-area
Meets work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends
