About The Position

This role involves the manual assembly of small parts using various tools and equipment in a clean room environment. The assembler will be responsible for maintaining quality through visual inspection, completing production records, and packaging finished products. The position requires good dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently within a team and at a production rate.

Requirements

  • Must have excellent dexterity to manually assemble small parts using hand tools, fixtures, and/or equipment.
  • Must be able to visually inspect product to ensure good quality using various types of magnification.
  • Able to comprehend and follow procedures as written.
  • Good hand/eye coordination.
  • Ability to take constructive feedback.
  • Ability to work on assigned line or process at the production rate without requiring assistance from others.
  • Acceptance of change and flexible to changing work environments.
  • Willingness to learn new concepts / processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify & communicate non-conformities and/or quality problems.
  • Effective listening skills & communication skills.
  • Ability to take direction from supervisor, coordinator, or line/cell leader and complete assigned tasks, with a positive attitude.
  • Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Keep work area clean.
  • Manually assemble small parts using hand tools, fixtures, and/or equipment.
  • Sort product for defects as required.
  • Visually inspect product for quality using various types of magnification.
  • Complete production records and work order documentation.
  • Weigh, count, package, and label finished product.
  • Assemble parts from subcomponents (Hand Assembly Off-Line & On-Line).
  • Identify and communicate non-conformities and/or quality problems.
  • Supports overtime activities as required.
  • Follow all safety policies per required job tasks, including utilization of designated PPE.
  • Follow attendance policy and be at their designated workstation at the required time.
  • Contribute effectively as part of a team.
