Requirements

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing, industrial, mechanical, or electrical assembly experience using hand tools, power tools, and standard assembly equipment.
Experience following work instructions, drawings, diagrams, schematics, or assembly documentation to complete standardized work.
Basic experience installing, fastening, fitting, or routing mechanical and/or electrical components in a production or manufacturing environment.
Must be capable and comfortable working in confined spaces and working at heights.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and wear required personal protective equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Successful completion of an assessment for the job class, background check, and drug screen.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this role.

Nice To Haves

Experience with gas turbine, heavy industrial, power generation, or large equipment assembly.
Experience with mechanical/electrical troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.
Experience working with cranes, hoists, lifts, or other industrial material-handling equipment.
Experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong focus on safety and quality.
Eager to learn new assembly techniques, equipment, and processes.
Strong attention to detail, dependability, and a team-first mindset.

Responsibilities

Assemble and disassemble gas turbine components and subassemblies following established work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
Interpret drawings, bill of materials, diagrams, schematics, and related shop documents to complete assigned work.
Position, fit, fasten, and torque components and piping or tubing systems using hand tools, power tools, hoists, and cranes.
Perform basic mechanical and electrical assembly tasks, including wiring connections, conduit or tubing work, and installation of related accessories.
Set up and disassemble test equipment and required gas, air, or hydro connections as needed.
Verify alignment, fit, and assembly quality using standard measuring devices/tools (such as tape measure, calipers, and micrometers) and record required quality data.
Operate material-moving equipment such as forklifts and jib or gantry cranes, as trained.
Identify and correct routine machining or setup issues to maintain quality and production flow.
Contribute to team problem solving and continuous improvement efforts.
Take ownership of compliance, safety, quality, and productivity in your area of responsibility.
