About The Position

As a Mechanical Assembler I, you will learn to assemble various types of product across multiple product lines. You will be responsible for performing basic assembly operations on mechanical components, subassemblies, and final products according to engineering specifications and quality standards. The position requires the employee to be on-site during the scheduled shift to perform daily duties and responsibilities.

Requirements

High school diploma, equivalent, or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge of standard tools, hand and power tools and their proper use.
Ability to communicate effectively, demonstrate math and reading skills, work with minimal direction, and respond positively to feedback.

Nice To Haves

At least one year (1) of experience as a mechanical assembler or similar is preferred.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret assembly drawings, process documentation, blueprints, and schematics to accurately assemble basic mechanical components, subassemblies, and final products according to detailed work instructions.
Inspect work completed to ensure compliance with established quality, engineering, and process standards, maintaining standard cycle time and process conformance.
Utilize hand tools and pneumatic tools to assemble electro-mechanical products with minimal supervision.
Determine and follow methods and sequence of operations in performing assembly tasks such as wiring, component installation and cable harnessing.
Utilize computer terminal, MRP system to make product transactions.
Complete daily schedules based on productivity levels assigned by supervisor(s).
Demonstrate commitment to workplace safety by wearing required PPE and maintaining a clean, organized work environment that adheres to 5S protocol standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
