About The Position

From idea conception through development, production, and shipment; every team member plays a crucial role ensuring the quality, reliability, and efficiency of these American-made products.  Schedule:  Enjoy a 4-day work week, 10-hours a day (Monday–Thursday 6:00am and 4:30pm). Additional hours may be required during busier times  What You Will be Doing: Perform all tasks involved in the production of assembling parts, inspection, and operating hand and power tools. Follow standard work instructions and practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.   Employees may work in other departments in production as needs require.

Requirements

  • Perform different functions using both hand and power tools
  • Ability to understand quality standards, methods and reporting as needed
  • Computer skills to perform clocking in and out as well as clocking in work orders
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally or in written form with co-workers cross-functionally
  • Proficiency in reading and writing in English
  • Highly organized, self-motivated and can work independently
  • Must be highly self-motivated, work with minimal supervision and be able to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Will have a thorough knowledge of all manufacturing methods, techniques, and related equipment.
  • Planning: ability to think ahead and plan over a 30-day time span, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills as well as excellent communication skills (both written and oral) with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Performs assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools
  • Must have basic computer skills
  • Clock in and out of work orders
  • Ability to read work orders and work instructions
  • Complete proper paperwork daily
  • Place finished goods in the designated locations
  • Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required
  • All production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production
  • Other duties as assigned including training others on known processes
  • Press, Drill, Soldering equipment, Rivet gun, Pallet Jack, Compressed Air, Compressed Gas Hydro Star and Nitrogen, Impact Press, Hammer, Tape Machines.
  • Required to read, understand and follow work instructions to cut, debur, flare, and bend stainless steel
  • Must be familiar with product construction and application
  • Place finished goods on the designated pallet
  • Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • All production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production
  • Must have good working knowledge of part numbers and part usage and understand applications for use.
  • Proper operation of equipment to safety and productivity requirements, including but not limited to Lift Truck or Hand Trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned.
  • Periodically fill bottle with fluorescent dye
