About The Position

This is an exceptional opportunity to work with an Oil&Gas Services company in Shreveport, Louisiana. The Assembly and Test Operator is responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues.

Requirements

High school diploma, General Educational Development (GED), or related experience.
Must be electrical adept; able to use a variety of hand and power tools.
Ability to read, interpret, and carry out written and oral instructions; write legibly.
Background check, driving records check and drug screening are required upon hire.

Nice To Haves

Wiring experience, electrical knowledge or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

Assemble components of all products, selecting the correct tools and fixtures.
Test assembled products.
Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products.
Read blueprints; identify components; use pertinent tools and rework techniques; operate equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies.
Create labor records for all transactions.
Ensure good housekeeping within own work area.
Take personal responsibility for safety and adhere to relating Risk Assessments.
Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.
