Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Basic knowledge of assembly processes and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret operating procedures and technical documents.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Capability to stand, bend, twist, and crouch for extended periods of time.
Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to assemble parts with precision.
Strong attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and quality of the finished product.
Ability to spot defects or errors during the assembly process and take corrective action.
Ability to troubleshoot issues that arise during the assembly process.
Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
Ability to meet production deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Good organizational skills to manage tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
Ability to perform basic math calculations to measure parts, count inventory, and complete work logs.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of previous experience in manufacturing or assembly is preferred.

Responsibilities

Follow standard operating procedures, work orders, and specifications to assemble parts or components into finished products, ensuring all parts are correctly installed.
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and other machinery to assemble products, meeting production goals.
Inspect and test products during and after assembly to ensure they meet required quality standards.
Identify and resolve any defects or issues in the products.
Work closely with other team members, supervisors, and engineers to improve assembly processes, resolve production issues, and maintain workflow.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to avoid accidents, ensuring personal protective equipment (PPE) is used and safety standards are met.
Identify and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the assembly process and collaborate with the appropriate team members to resolve them.
Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance skills, improve efficiency, and contribute to product quality.
Keep workstations and surrounding areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards to maintain a safe working environment.
