Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic knowledge of assembly processes and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret operating procedures and technical documents.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Capability to stand, bend, twist, and crouch for extended periods of time.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to assemble parts with precision.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and quality of the finished product.
  • Ability to spot defects or errors during the assembly process and take corrective action.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues that arise during the assembly process.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability to meet production deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good organizational skills to manage tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations to measure parts, count inventory, and complete work logs.

Nice To Haves

  • At least 1 year of previous experience in manufacturing or assembly is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Follow standard operating procedures, work orders, and specifications to assemble parts or components into finished products, ensuring all parts are correctly installed.
  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and other machinery to assemble products, meeting production goals.
  • Inspect and test products during and after assembly to ensure they meet required quality standards, identifying and resolving any defects or issues.
  • Work closely with other team members, supervisors, and engineers to improve assembly processes, resolve production issues, and maintain workflow.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to avoid accidents, ensuring personal protective equipment (PPE) is used and safety standards are met.
  • Identify and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the assembly process and collaborate with the appropriate team members to resolve them.
  • Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance skills, improve efficiency, and contribute to product quality.
  • Keep workstations and surrounding areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards to maintain a safe working environment.
