This full-time, non-exempt position involves following detailed instructions and interpreting engineering blueprints and technical terms, assessing parts and materials, and testing finished products for defects. - Perform product assembly by following detailed instructions and interpreting engineering blueprints and technical terms.
- Use hand strength and fine motor skills to manipulate, fit, and secure components.
- Assess the quality of parts and materials used in production.
- Inventory parts and tools used in assembly.
- Follow company procedures and directives.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including assembly logs and quality checks.
- Test finished products for defects.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and effectively during assembly.
- Keep the workspace clean and well-maintained.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols.
- Handle and lift heavy cords weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
