About The Position

L3Harris Technologies is seeking multiple Assembler B’s to join our Camden, AR facility. The Assembler B works with moderate supervision, following formal written procedures and detailed verbal instructions. Performs tasks required to produce various components and assemble these parts to a point where they are ready for next operational level.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent with 4 years of prior related experience OR 2 years Post-Secondary / Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Must be respirator qualified.

Nice To Haves

Arkansas Career Readiness Certificate-Silver Level is preferred.
Previous mechanical experience desired.

Responsibilities

Performs surface preparation, applies protective coating, insulates casings, casting and operates pressure chambers.
Carries out various preparatory tasks as needed in the manufacturing process.
Manages documentation related to production and handles environmental responsibilities.
Collects, contains, and labels waste byproducts produced during manufacturing activities.
Maintains satellite accumulation areas in a safe and orderly manner and in compliance with environmental regulations.
Ensures that Hazardous Waste Control Technician is contacted to have non-energetic chemical wastes moved to the chemical waste handling area (CWHA), and energetic wastes (waste explosives) moved to the energetic waste accumulation areas or the thermal treatment units.
Immediately reports spills of chemicals and/or process waters to the Environmental department.
Implements the facility Emergency Procedures/Contingency Plan in the event of an emergency incident.
Performs other duties as assigned to support production demands.
Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
Maintains a high consciousness for personnel and equipment safety.
