Here, you will find more than just a job—you will find purpose and pride. The Service Tech is responsible for performing repairs and/or electrical testing on the Spectrum Infusion Pump. Ensuring the highest level of quality, individuals in this role follow documented standard work instructions and document findings into the system of record. Individuals in this role may also assist other areas of the value stream such as packaging (for shipment), repair or testing, as needed.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills (English) and the ability to follow written instructions.
  • Must have proficient computer skills with ability to learn new systems, enter data and routinely toggle between various application systems.
  • Ability to work well independently and as a member of a team, demonstrating teamwork and cooperation.
  • Perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision, including required documentation needed to maintain compliance.
  • Ability to document data accurately, following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Must have good judgement, positive attitude and a high level of initiative.
  • Ability to manually perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Basic knowledge of using various tools such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, hipot tester, pressure gauges, screw drivers, torque drivers, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with electro mechanical assembly, repair or testing in an FDA regulated environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Follow defined Quality Management Systems, all applicable written procedures, review maintenance records and complete all documentation as required and in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • Adhere to all environmental, health and safety standard operating procedures and policies, including any department specific requirements.
  • Maintain a continuous flow on the Servicing line, working independently and as part of a team, to achieve process yield results.
  • Must be able to work with various hand tools, fixtures and gauges
  • Use machinery, equipment and test aids to conduct a variety of tests, measure devices and calculate data to verify adherence, in order to ensure that the unit functions within the provided specifications.
  • Use good judgement from the established procedures and device readings to continue through the service or testing process and escalate issues as needed.
  • May prepare devices for shipment by assembling boxes and shipping materials.
  • May receive incoming devices for repair, use chemical solutions to disinfect and sanitize devices, production equipment or the immediate work environment.
  • Rotate to other areas such as assembly, repair, packaging, spare parts and test operations, as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
