Requirements

  • Proven experience in precision soldering, micro-assembly, or electronics repair
  • Exceptional manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling delicate, small components
  • Ability to work effectively under a microscope or magnification tools for extended periods
  • Experience reading and interpreting technical blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality, defect-free work
  • Familiarity with precision measuring tools and inspection processes
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while performing repetitive, detail-oriented tasks
  • High level of visual acuity, including prolonged microscope use
  • Steady hands and fine motor control for precision work
  • Requires a minimum of 2 - 4 years of related experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform fine-pitch soldering and assembly of small mechanical and electronic components using microscopes and magnification tools, ensuring precise alignment and high-quality workmanship.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and detailed work instructions to ensure accurate assembly and compliance with specifications.
  • Inspect completed assemblies for defects, dimensional accuracy, and functionality using precision measurement tools and visual inspection techniques.
  • Utilize specialized hand tools, fixtures, and equipment designed for small-part assembly and high-precision work.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with 5S and cleanroom protocols.
  • Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, improve quality, and reduce waste.
