About The Position
As an Assembler 2 at MKS, Inc. you will partner with the Operations team to perform a wide variety of mechanical assembly operations. In this role, you will report to the Operations Manager.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of related experience required
Responsibilities
- Assemble complex products, subassemblies, and components according to work instructions, drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing component installation, welding and testing units.
- Making set-ups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications
- May be responsible for testing equipment and products
- Running wash station to clean piece parts and assemblies
- Troubleshoot and resolve assembly, fit, form, and function issues using established procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and 5S activities.
- Train and mentor Assembler I and Assembler II employees on assembly methods, quality standards, and safety procedures
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
