Rockwell Automation•Mequon, WI

About The Position

Rockwell Automation is hiring a full-time manufacturing Assembler 2 for a second-shift role, Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The starting rate depends on experience, with a 6% shift premium. The role performs a wide variety of electronic or electromechanical assembly operations on assemblies and subassemblies, including wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing. The assembler determines or follows methods and operation sequences and makes setups and adjustments to meet blueprint tolerances. The position involves repetitive assembly of pre-engineered electromechanical equipment control modules using hard-copy and electronic documentation, established work sequences, predefined tools, and fixtures. The assembler takes direction from manufacturing team leads, follows Tester instructions to rework product test anomalies, prepares products for shipment, and supports manufacturing orders with engraving, labels, and reports. Work is performed in a standardized, paced production environment with expectations for compliance with safety, quality, delivery, productivity, procedures, policies, and metrics. Overtime is an essential function and typically requires 20 hours per week, though actual hours may vary.
