About The Position

As an Assembler 2 at MKS Inc., you will partner with Operations to execute a variety of intermediate and finishing assembly processes. In this role, you will report to the Production Manager of the Optical Filters Business Unit.

Requirements

• 1+ year of related experience required
• Requires production experience with vocational instruction in electro-mechanical assembly, reading, writing, and arithmetic skills, ability to work from established drawings, and experience in soldering, wire-wrapping and cable harnessing

Responsibilities

• Performing a wide variety of electronic, Electro-mechanical and mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies
• Determining and/or following methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units
• Making set-ups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications
• Testing equipment and products per standard operating procedures
• Cleaning optical components, inspecting surface quality and performing dimensional analysis per customer specifications
