About The Position

This role involves assembling components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts and subassemblies. The assembler will position parts and subassemblies using templates or by reading measurements. Key aspects of the role include meeting daily production targets, maintaining consistent speed and accuracy, and demonstrating good time management, reliable attendance, and punctuality.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals.
  • Blueprint reading – Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Tool proficiency – Skilled with hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and basic machinery.
  • Measurement skills – Use of calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure precision.
  • Notices small defects or inconsistencies.
  • Follows specifications exactly.
  • Maintains accuracy under production pressure.
  • Stand for extended periods (often 8–12-hour shifts).
  • Walk between workstations or production areas.
  • Bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch as needed.
  • Lift and carry materials (commonly 25–50 lbs.).
  • Push/pull carts or equipment.
  • Handle small parts with precision.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools repeatedly.
  • Fine motor skills for small or detailed components.
  • Perform repetitive assembly tasks.
  • Maintain consistent pace throughout shift.
