About The Position

Seeking candidates that have a strong work ethic, dependable, solid work history minimum 1 to 2 years with their previous employer. This is an G Shift position on a 3-2-2-3 shift schedule 12 hour shifts from 8am to 8pm. Shift subject to change based on business needs. Eye exam is Required. High School diploma or GED is required for this job assignment. Steel toe or composite shoes are required. Candidate must be able to lift up to 50lbs, unassisted.

Requirements

Minimum 1 to 2 years with previous employer.
High School diploma or GED is required.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, unassisted.
Must be proficient with basic hand tools.
Knowledgeable of feeler gauges and other tools to measure tolerances, torque, and clearances.
Should be familiar with cams, cam-followers, rod-ends, bushings, chain drives, conveyors, gearboxes.
Familiarity with Vacuum systems, pneumatic systems, ball-valves.

Nice To Haves

Industrial Maintenance/Basic Mechatronics Technology Preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate production equipment with the Sharps Department, while meeting quality, productivity, waste, and safety goals.
Operate all packaging equipment, ensuring that product is properly packed and labeled per specification.
Participates as team associate in activities required to ensure successful daily operations of the Sharps Department.
Operates all equipment at acceptable quality and quantity levels.
Performs quality checks as required by specifications.
Maintains accurate production, downtime, and quality check records.
Notifies technical personnel of equipment malfunctions.
Utilizes Batch Numbers as assigned in SAP.
Stamps Batch Numbers on shelf cartons and case cartons with correct product and batch information.
Performs general housekeeping duties throughout shift.
Observes all safety and environmental procedures and Quality Systems Requirements (QSR).
Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor and required to support the needs of the business.
