Our people division is growing, and we are looking for an Assay Laboratory Technician at our Golden Sunlight Mine site. Requirements
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize a heavy workload required
- Ability to communicate effectively with peers in a team environment required
- Experience with computer operations required
- Proven safety and attendance record required
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds required
- Ability to walk on uneven ground in all weather conditions required
- Ability to perform the essential functions of this position required
Nice To Haves
- Minimum one (1) year experience in laboratory environment preferred
- Familiarity with chemicals and laboratory procedures preferred
Responsibilities
- Work safely around laboratory and process equipment and various regiments
- Perform sampling in the mill and at stockpiles
- Prepare samples, including weighing samples and entering data into spreadsheets
- Work with assay equipment and instrumentation
- Perform other duties as assigned
