About The Position
The Fred Smith Company is seeking an experienced CDL truck driver to fill an Asphalt Tack Truck Driver position. Applicants must have previous asphalt paving experience. We are a self-perform heavy civil contractor working in North Carolina. Pay will be commensurate with experience.
Requirements
- Previous asphalt paving experience.
- Valid Class A or B CDL license.
- Current medical examiners certificate.
- Endorsements if applicable to the position.
Nice To Haves
- Local candidates preferred.
Responsibilities
- Follow all company safety policies including taking specific action to avoid incidents with the traveling public.
- Operate equipment in an efficient manner and follow instructions management.
- Follow all equipment monitoring and maintenance requirements and maintain DOT required logbooks.
