About The Position
A.C. Moate Industries is seeking an experienced Asphalt Superintendent with a strong background in commercial paving and pavement maintenance operations. The ideal candidate is a self-directed field leader with a proven ability to manage crews, execute projects, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. You must bring demonstrated experience running asphalt operations, managing teams, and delivering successful projects. Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in asphalt paving or heavy civil construction
- Prior experience as a Superintendent or Foreman in a leadership role
- Proven ability to manage crews, production, and jobsite operations
- Strong understanding of asphalt equipment and processes
- Ability to read plans, specifications, and project scopes
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred)

Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage asphalt paving, grinding, sealcoating, and maintenance projects
- Lead field crews and ensure productivity, accountability, and performance
- Coordinate daily jobsite logistics, scheduling, and material flow
- Conduct site visits to evaluate scope and ensure readiness
- Maintain quality control throughout all phases of work
- Identify and resolve field issues efficiently
- Work closely with estimators and project managers to execute scope
- Review plans, specifications, and job requirements
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within scope
- Enforce all safety standards and jobsite protocols
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
- Promote a culture of safety and accountability across crews
