Requirements

Ability to operate a variety of equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Knowledge of asphalt plant.
Strong attention to detail.
Initiative, ability, and willingness to perform and assist with other responsibilities for job completion as requested.
Willingness to work day or night shift, including weekends.
Willingness to travel.
Capable of operating the assigned machine and any other related equipment in a safe manner.
Able to do a competent inspection of the equipment.

Responsibilities

Safely operating and maintaining asphalt plant and construction equipment.
Operating track excavators, back hoes, dozers, loaders, rollers, forklifts, and other pieces of equipment.
Performing other routine duties as directed by Foreman.
Preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is properly maintained and serviced as needed.
Monitoring production levels and adjusting production as needed.
Troubleshooting, problem-solving, and successfully discussing production problems with co-workers and supervisors.
