About The Position
Rogers Group is looking for a responsible, dedicated and safety conscious person to fill our need for an ASPHALT PLANT LOADER OPERATOR/ GROUNDMAN located in Dayton, TN. This position involves heavy equipment operation along with other duties as designated by the plant supervisor.
Requirements
- Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
- Knowledge of equipment.
- Able to do safety and maintenance inspections throughout the day.
- Capable of demonstrating equipment and troubleshooting knowledge.
- Ability to understand basic safety and work instruction.
- Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Experience in heavy equipment operation.
- Team player mentality.
- Working outdoors in varied weather conditions with the probability of dust, noise, heat, and cold.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that materials are stored properly to maintain quality and prevent contamination.
- Transport materials to different areas of the plant as needed.
- Report equipment problems and identify them to management.
- Assist other workers as needed or directed.
- Clean-up around site.
- Other duties as assigned.
