About The Position

Performs physical labor on a paving crew, helping to ensure that asphalt is poured and distributed in the right manner. This is a full-time role where the employee will be responsible for raking asphalt to the proper grade and finish before compaction, matching and finishing freshly made asphalt paving joints, and smoothing surface irregularities. The position also involves assisting the Screed Operator with maintaining grade and screed extensions. The role requires the ability to perform manual work and follow instructions, with a willingness to travel and work away from home when required. Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures is essential.

Requirements

At least one year of experience.
Willingness and ability to perform manual work and follow verbal and written instructions.
Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times.
Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required.
Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.
Report to the assigned job site in proper attire and ready to begin work at the designated start time.
Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Safety Manual.
Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
Individuals are required to wear personal protective equipment in designated operations and production areas as stated by OSHA and/or MSHA and company policy.
Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work.
