About The Position

We are seeking an Asphalt Laborer to join our team in Joplin, MO and support the day-to-day operations of our asphalt paving and construction projects. Responsibilities Assist with asphalt paving operations, including raking, shoveling, site preparation, and general labor tasks Support equipment operators and crew members to maintain efficient jobsite workflow Load and unload materials and operate hand and power tools Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment Collaborate with site supervisors and other construction staff to ensure project success Drive innovation and continuous improvement in construction practices Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Construction labor experience required
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and working in all weather conditions
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance

Nice To Haves

• Asphalt experience preferred but not required
