About The Position

Requirements

• Requires 5+ years of hands-on asphalt and road construction experience, plus at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions, handle potential noise, fumes, and dirt, and frequently work flexible shifts (including nights and weekends).
• A valid AZ driver's license (with an acceptable driving record) is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and leads a team of heavy highway or paving construction workers, ensuring high-quality workmanship on driveways, parking lots, and roadways.
• Coordinates daily equipment, trucking subcontractors, and asphalt material deliveries so progress is never delayed.
• Enforces all safety protocols, ensures PPE is worn, conducts daily site inspections, and files accident/injury reports when necessary.
• Reviews and signs time sheets, monitors material tonnage, and oversees job costs.
