About The Position

Clackamas Community College (CCC) seeks to hire an ASL Tutor. This is a part-time, non-union, non-exempt, and non-benefits-eligible position. Requirements

• Fluency in ASL
• Ability to exemplify traits that reflect the College’s culture, including integrity, a customer service orientation, cultural competency, trustworthiness, flexibility and a willingness to change.

Responsibilities

• Individually and in small groups, inside or outside the classroom, help students understand and complete their assignments without supplying them with the answers.
• Conduct simple conversations with students in the target language.
• May provide assistance to other department personnel as workload and staffing levels dictate.
• Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
