About The Position

An outstanding, full-time opening is available for an ASL Interpreter w/ TS-SCI Clearance to join a highly established translation company on a full time basis that has experience in American Sign Language translation for government organizations. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• ACTIVE Top Secret Clearance with SCI
• Fluent in Sign Language
• RID/NAD issued National certification
• 4-7 years ASL interpreting experience with minimum 20 hours per week
• Ability to interpret voice to sign , sign to voice , oral transliteration , and deaf interpretation
• Knowledge of government vernaculars

Responsibilities

• Provide quality interpretation between American Sign Language (ASL) and English
• Display wide continuum of language, interpreting, and voicing skills
• Effectively assess the language needs and style of each Deaf consumer
• Provide services such as ASL Interpreting, Note-Taking, and Reading at loud services.
