About The Position

NVIDIA is seeking ASIC Verification Engineers to verify the design and implementation of its SoCs and GPUs. The position contributes to high-performance processor elements that implement programmable compute and graphics functionality, with potential impact across consumer graphics, self-driving cars, and artificial intelligence. As a member of the ASIC Verification team, you will verify GPU ASIC designs, architectures, golden models, and microarchitecture using advanced verification methodologies such as UVM. You will understand your unit’s design and implementation, define its verification scope, develop verification infrastructure, and verify design correctness. The role involves collaboration with architects, designers, and pre- and post-silicon verification teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in EE, CS, or CE, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in verification using random stimulus, functional coverage, and assertion-based verification methodologies.
  • Experience with design and verification tools, including VCS or equivalent simulation tools and debug tools such as Verdi or GDB.
  • Experience creating testbench environments for unit- and system-level verification.
  • Strong background in SystemVerilog or a similar hardware verification language.
  • Expertise in C/C++ programming.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior processor verification experience, including instruction pipelines and caches.
  • Expert debugging and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability and desire to work well as a teammate.

Responsibilities

  • Verify the design and implementation of GPUs.
  • Verify ASIC designs, architecture, golden models, and microarchitecture using methodologies such as UVM.
