About The Position

The Aseptic Filler Operator is vital to the success of our production function. A successful individual will have efficient monitoring, maintenance and operation of the assigned filler (Procomac filler) and pasteurizer for quality output and maintenance support skills. Our Production team follows a 2-2-3 12-hour shift schedule, providing a consistent routine for work-life balance. Shift hours for this role are 5:45am - 6:00pm.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED and 4 years of experience in a heavy, high speed, industry manufacturing environment - required.
Ability to apply basic computer and communication skills, math functions, and reasoning.
Ability to use basic hand tools (knife, pumps, and scales).
Previous experience as a machine operator.
Lock Out/Tag Out Trained.
Ability to wear personal protective equipment (bump cap, hair net, ear plugs, beard net (if applicable), Kevlar gloves, safety glasses and leather, skid resistant work shoes/boots).
Ability to apply basic computer and communication skills, math functions and reasoning.
Ability to use various hand tools (knife, water house, band cutters, can opener, scales Telnet scanners, various hand tolls, as required for position/product testing).

Responsibilities

Operator filler to include set-up, operation, change overs and troubleshooting to detect product (raw or finished) defects or filler malfunctions, adjusting as necessary.
Observe filler operation to detect product defects.
Observe pasteurizer operation to detect product defects.
Maintain GMP (good housekeeping) standards at and around filler and pasteurizer.
Perform SOP’s for assigned filler, pasteurizer and area.
Work in a safe manner, consistent with company safety rules and regulations.
Maintain good attendance record per company policy.
Report food safety & quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
