This position is responsible for all functions relating to operating the processing equipment used to package and manufacture aseptic beverage products as well as cleaning (CIP) and sanitizing. The role involves coordinating cleaning, sterilizing, and operating aseptic filling equipment and supporting systems to maximize product quality and departmental efficiency. The operator will monitor and fix faults, clear material jams, and maintain communication within the production team for smooth shift transitions. A key aspect of the role is performing required quality checks to ensure standards are met, and relieving other team members for breaks and absences. The position also requires maintaining a clean and organized work area, troubleshooting basic to moderate operating difficulties, and performing routine maintenance on machines. Support for mechanics in maintenance activities, monitoring raw materials and supplies, and understanding the continuous process flow of the aseptic system are also essential. Accurate preparation and maintenance of all area paperwork are required, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Proficiency with computers and performing quality and food safety checks are necessary. Communication with facility personnel regarding production delays or problems is important, as is adherence to all employee safety, food safety, quality procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Responsible for proper shift handoff and wearing required PPE, including protective gloves, aprons, face shields, and safety glasses. This role emphasizes leadership and ownership of department responsibilities and functions.
