About The Position

Nissan of Elk Grove is hiring an ASE Certified Technician in Elk Grove, California. Starting compensation is $33.80 per flag-rate hour; actual earnings vary based on performance, experience, and other applicable factors. Requirements

At least 3 years of automotive service technician experience.
ASE certifications required.
A-level diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair experience.
Strong understanding of modern vehicle technologies.
Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
Must have own tools.
Open availability to work a rotating four-day schedule.
Valid driver's license with a good driving record, as required to operate company and customer vehicles.
Team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic.
High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and according to dealership standards.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems.
Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic equipment to identify issues.
Communicate needed repairs and timelines to service advisors.
Perform warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism.
