Tri-City Cardiology has been serving the healthcare needs of the East Valley for over 45 years & we are currently looking to add a CARDIOVASCULAR RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST to our ASC team! This position operates imaging equipment and performs specialized radiographic procedures as ordered by the physician and following department/facility policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
  • Requires national certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Two years Cath Lab experience
  • Current ACLS/BLS certification
  • All employees must be able to provide proof of their identity and their right to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Cardiology experience preferred
  • Operating Room experience preferred
  • Scrub experience highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Performs diagnostic and/or interventional radiographic procedures per physician order.
  • Assists with acquiring and opening products during procedure based on physician needs and orders.
  • Responsible for preparing radiographic equipment prior to exams.
  • Maintains safe working environment.
  • Minimizes radiation doses for the patient and staff.
  • Responsible for contributing to and maintaining inventory management.
  • Demonstrates professional behavior and conduct in all interactions.
  • Fosters and takes accountability for teamwork.
  • Holds accountability for ethical, legal, and professional responsibilities including confidentiality of all work and patient information.
  • Adequately informs and educates the patient/families regarding exams to be performed.
  • Maintains the ability to use radiographic equipment appropriately.
  • Demonstrates the ability to trouble-shoot and notify appropriate resources accordingly for equipment maintenance.
  • Participates in quality improvement regarding patient safety and care.
  • Provides clinical care instructions in an operating room environment.
