About The Position

This role involves training and certifying ASC Ingot Processors, overseeing their qualification process, and providing feedback to supervision. The trainer will also support and improve the training program by creating and revising modules and evaluations. Additionally, the trainer will provide ongoing support and conduct audits for ASC Ingot Processors, maintaining relevant records and staying current with processing techniques. A commitment to maintaining a harassment and discrimination-free environment is also expected.

Requirements

  • Must be self-motivated and capable of high performance with little or no supervision.
  • Must consistently rate in the top 20% in Project Team Build issues and demonstrate good work habits, including a history of quality workmanship.
  • Must be free of any disciplinary action for Quality, Productivity or Behavior over the last 12 months.
  • Position requires incumbent to be willing to change department assignments, work with others in more than one department, and adjust shift schedules as required by production needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions, make progress observations, and accurately record technical data.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing clearly and unambiguously.
  • Must have good facilitation skills and the ability to teach individuals and/or small groups.
  • Satisfactory attendance record required.
  • Satisfactory safety record required.
  • Must have held an ASC Ingot Processor position for a minimum of 12 months during the prior 3 years.

Nice To Haves

  • Current ASC Ingot Processor Trainer certification desired.
  • Outstanding performance in prior progression through the ASC Ingot Processor Training and Certification Program is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Train and certify ASC Ingot Processors, progressing them through the qualification and certification process.
  • Train employees on new skills and work with them to improve performance.
  • Perform module audits and evaluate employees against certification requirements.
  • Provide objective, fact-based input for performance reviews and participate in performance feedback.
  • Create and revise training modules, written evaluations, and skills demonstration criteria.
  • Maintain records of employees and departments, and perform ongoing employee evaluations and random audits.
  • Stay current on ASC Ingot Processor techniques in all aspects of interpreting.
  • Support the maintenance of a harassment/discrimination-free environment.
