About The Position

We are seeking an experienced AS400 Developer with Synon expertise for a hybrid role in Dallas, Texas. This is a contract position requiring local candidates. The role involves developing and maintaining AS/400 applications, with a focus on RPGLE, CL, and Synon2/E. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IBMi SQL and experience in a leadership capacity. Proficiency in IBM X-analysis, ALDON, and Hawkeye is essential. Experience with RxClaim or other PBM Adjudication systems is highly preferred.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience with AS/400 application development.
• At least 5 years of application development experience in RPG, RPGLE, and CL.
• At least 5 years of application development experience in Synon2/E (COOL 2/E).
• 5+ years of experience with IBMi SQL.
• 5+ years of recent experience in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in IBM X-analysis, ALDON, and Hawkeye.

Nice To Haves

• Proven track record of successfully completing several medium to large scope projects.
• Proficiency in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Adept at problem determination and resolution through research and fact-finding.
• Experience with RxClaim or other PBM Adjudication systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AS/400 applications using RPG, RPGLE, CL, and Synon2/E.
• Utilize IBMi SQL for database development and querying.
• Lead development efforts on medium to large scope projects.
• Perform problem determination and resolution through research and fact-finding.
• Apply knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in all project phases.
