About The Position

The Arts Marketing Content Coordinator is a seasonal member of the Marketing and Communications team, supporting Chautauqua’s Theater and Opera companies through the creation of engaging, brand-aligned content across digital and print channels. This role is focused on execution — building emails, designing assets and producing social content that brings each production to life. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, visually creative and energized by the performing arts.

Responsibilities

  • Build and deploy email campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or similar platforms)
  • Format content for clarity, accessibility and mobile responsiveness
  • Collaborate with marketing leads to ensure strong calls-to-action and audience alignment
  • Create graphics and write captions for platforms including Instagram and Facebook
  • Schedule and publish content in alignment with programming and campaign timelines
  • Monitor engagement and support performance tracking
  • Develop promotional materials for theater and opera productions (digital ads, flyers, posters) in partnership with the Graphic Design Coordinator
  • Ensure all materials align with Chautauqua’s brand standards
  • Assist with updates to digital signage and on-grounds displays
  • Partner with Theater and Opera teams to fulfill marketing requests
  • Plan and coordinate design and production timelines to ensure all materials are delivered on schedule.
  • Coordinate with photographers and videographers to support content capture
  • Work within the Marketing team to meet deadlines and campaign needs
