About The Position

We are looking for a passionate and self-driven Senior 3D Props Artist to join the production team for Disney Dreamlight Valley. This multiplatform life-sim/adventure game is already available! Packed with quests, exploration, and engaging activities featuring your favorite Disney and Pixar heroes, Disney Dreamlight Valley is a 100% original production from Gameloft Montreal—created by a passionate team that is eager for you to join them!

Requirements

• An excellent portfolio, preferably featuring stylized assets
• Significant experience creating props and environments for the video game industry
• Excellent knowledge of production pipelines
• Excellent communication skills
• Proactivity and initiative
• Experience with game engines (Unity a plus), Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, ZBrush, and/or Substance
• Skill in UV optimization
• Demonstrate expertise in retopology and geometry optimization for real-time game assets

Responsibilities

• Model stylized props, furniture, and environment assets using an optimized high-to-low poly production workflow
• Bake geometry and textures for in-game assets
• Create stylized textures, trim sheets and texture atlases, while contributing to the game’s material library
• Interpret concept art and bring it to life through the creation of benchmark-quality 3D assets
• Collaborate with developers to optimize and integrate assets for best performance
• Contribute to the project's 3D modeling pipeline documentation
• Collaborate with other prop artists and—in a senior capacity—assist or coach them as needed
