About The Position

The Artist Services Venue Coordinators will provide on-site support for filmmakers, managing itineraries, ticketing, and volunteer liaisons at their assigned NYFF Venue. Reporting to the Artist Services Manager, Coordinators will ensure a smooth experience for all VIP guests and their party during official NYFF Screenings and Events.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of film industry and film festivals
  • 1-2 years of experience working at a major film festival in Programming or Guest Services preferred
  • Ability to maintain focus and calm under pressure
  • Comfortable working out of FLC venues
  • Energy, stamina, and patience
  • Comfortable working in Google Docs suite and Excel

Responsibilities

  • Review/Finalize filmmaker itineraries, schedules, and ticket allocations in coordination with the Travel Coordinators.
  • Serve as the primary on-site contact for filmmakers during screenings, events, and hospitality functions.
  • Lead venue walk-throughs with film teams and provide guidance on logistics and access.
  • Coordinate and supervise volunteer Artist Services Liaisons during festival operations.
  • Respond to on-site guest requests, coordinating with the AS Manager and other departments as needed.
  • Ensure all artist related operations run efficiently, including guest arrivals, press access, and special accommodations.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest interactions, itineraries, and on-site support tasks.
