About The Position

Regent University's School of Communication and the Arts seeks full-time, professional-track Artists in Residence in film and media production. Artists in Residence will serve in the Department of Film and Media Arts to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, and in the Regent Film Institute to provide services in areas such as motion picture editing, production and post-production management, or motion graphics. Requirements

  • Demonstrated production experience across multiple areas of expertise.
  • Appropriate degree.
  • Ability to teach and support students pursuing motion picture art and industry above and below the line.
  • Demonstrated expertise in motion picture editing, production/post-production management, or motion graphics.
  • Potential to teach across the curriculum.
  • Dedication to Christ-centered teaching and learning.
  • Record of or potential for academic scholarship.
  • Ability to teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses.
  • Facility with online instructional technology.
  • Willingness to embrace the College and University Identity and Mission statements and subscribe to a statement of Christian faith.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in film and media production.
  • Provide services in motion picture editing, production and post-production management, or motion graphics for the Regent Film Institute.
