The Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center (MCCCC) in Jacksonville, Florida, is seeking an innovative and accomplished leader in Artificial Intelligence (AI) for a faculty position. This role focuses on applying AI in basic, translational, and clinical research programs within Radiation Oncology, particularly within a heavy particle therapy program. The successful candidate will be an exceptional investigator (scientist and/or physician) with expertise in AI and its application in basic and translational biology and clinical decision-making. They will play a central role in advancing a multidisciplinary heavy particle program focused on discovery science, translational innovation, and clinical impact. A key component of this role will involve developing AI tools in areas such as Bioinformatics, Radiogenomics, Integrated Multi-omics Analysis, Multimodality Image-Guided Targeting, Radiomics, Adaptive Radiotherapy, Outcome Modeling, Clinical Decision Support, Medical Physics, Radiation Measurement, Real-Time Response Assessment, Systems Analysis, Biophysical Analysis, and Translational Radiobiology. The candidate will be a key driver in integrating AI technologies into existing and emerging radiation oncology platforms to enable novel approaches to heavy particle therapy.
