LifeBridge Community Services is a leading non-profit organization in Fairfield County committed to partnering with individuals, youth, and families to improve well-being, strengthen resilience and create a brighter future. By providing a combination of behavioral health services, youth development, and asset-building resources – as well as meals for seniors and interpreting services statewide – our impact strengthens our community. We are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive team where employees feel a sense of belonging and are valued for their contributions and perspectives. In all our interactions, whether with clients, colleagues, or community members, we strive to be respectful, transparent, collaborative, deliberate and impactful. As one of eight outpatient Urban Trauma Centers in Connecticut, and member of the Urban Trauma Network (UTN), LifeBridge receives coaching, training, technical assistance, and fidelity monitoring from the Urban Trauma-Performance Improvement Center to enhance clinical competencies to best serve the community. LifeBridge is seeking an experienced Board Certified Registered Art Therapist (ATR-BC) to join our therapeutic treatment team. The ATR-BC will provide art therapy to provide the opportunity for non-verbal expressions and communication via the various media of art to further self-awareness and personal growth for the individual. The ATR-BC will support the integration of art therapy as a new treatment modality within LifeBridge’s behavioral health department. This position will provide clinical services as both an ATR-BC and an LPC, with the ability to offer art therapy, as well as other evidence-based interventions (e.g., CBT, TF-CBT, DBT) based on client’s needs and desires.
