The Art Teacher at All Saints Academy, with a 50% assignment at the St. Norbert Campus, provides high‑quality visual arts instruction that fosters creativity, skill development, and artistic expression within a faith‑centered educational environment. This role supports students’ artistic growth while integrating Catholic values and contributing to the mission of the school across assigned campus responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Art, Art Education, or a related field (required).
  • Strong classroom management, organization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple campus settings.
  • Commitment to Catholic education and willingness to support the mission of All Saints Academy.

Nice To Haves

  • Teaching certification or eligibility (preferred).
  • Experience teaching art to elementary or middle school students (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate visual arts instruction aligned with school curriculum standards.
  • Teach foundational and advanced art skills, including drawing, painting, sculpture, design, and art appreciation.
  • Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and self‑expression through varied artistic media and techniques.
  • Integrate Catholic values, themes, and traditions into art instruction where appropriate.
  • Create and maintain a safe, organized, and respectful art classroom environment.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse abilities and learning needs of students.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback aligned with instructional goals.
  • Prepare student artwork for displays, exhibitions, and school events as assigned.
  • Collaborate with faculty and administration across All Saints Academy campuses, including participation at the St. Norbert Campus as scheduled.
  • Manage art supplies, materials, and classroom resources responsibly.
  • Communicate professionally with parents/guardians regarding student progress and artistic development as appropriate.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, liturgical celebrations, and school community events.
  • Adhere to all school policies, diocesan guidelines, and professional expectations.
