Art Studio Assistant
About The Position
The Ceramics, Jewelry and Metals area of the School of Art and Design is looking for a studio assistant. Responsibilities include general studio maintenance and organization under the supervision of both the ceramics, and Jewelry and Metals Professors. Weekly duties vary but include light cleaning, non-hazardous chemical mixing, tool repair, and assistance with classroom demonstration materials. This position is physically demanding and the student workers may need to lift 50lbs dry material bags, mixing clay, spraying/scraping/mopping floors among other physical activities.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled at EKU
Nice To Haves
- Completion of ART 240 and ART 290 preferred
