The Department of Art and Design at The University of Tampa is seeking part-time live art models for the 2026-2027 Academic Year. The primary role of the model is to provide art students with the opportunity to practice, learn, and enhance their perceptive skills and artistic expression through the study of the human form. Models must be capable of holding both short gesture poses and longer, sustained poses lasting 16–18 minutes. Communication with the course instructor is essential for determining pose length, style, and costuming when draped. Most modeling will be undraped, requiring models to bring a robe and appropriate footwear for covering up between poses. Models are expected to maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and hygiene, and to collaborate with the instructor to meet class needs. Those with long hair should ensure it is kept off the neckline while posing. Art Models are expected to contribute to a professional work environment that promotes knowledge, respect, and skill development in art and design.
