About The Position
The Part-Time Art Instructor at Sylvania YMCA/JCC guides children and adults as they explore and develop their artistic abilities. The instructor leads engaging art activities for participants ranging from young children to adults, creating a fun and educational environment that accommodates varied skill levels and interests. The role supports participants’ personal growth, appreciation of diversity, leadership development, and relationships with peers and families.
Requirements
- Strong background in and understanding of various art techniques.
- Ability to provide engaging instruction in a fun and educational environment.
- Ability to guide groups with diverse skill levels and interests.
- Passion for art and a desire to foster individual growth.
- Enthusiasm and capability to lead dynamic art sessions.
