About The Position

The Department of Art and Art History at Colorado State University is seeking to hire part-time or full-time Adjunct Metals and Fibers Instructor(s) with a special administrative focus as a studio technician for the 2026-27 Academic Year. These positions are non-tenure track, with a one-year appointment that is renewable for up to three years. The role involves teaching specific courses determined by department need and faculty expertise, as well as service responsibilities including light committee work and studio management and technical support for the Metals and Fibers studios. Requirements

  • A masters degree in Art.
  • An active creative practice.
  • College-level teaching experience in Metals and/or Fibers disciplines.

  • A terminal degree (MFA) in Art.
  • Foundations teaching experience.
