Position Overview: Under the general supervision of the radiation oncologist, non-physician providers evaluate patients, perform routine histories and physical examinations and perform and/or interpret diagnostic tests and/or procedures as detailed in the department-specific scope of practice. Participate in teaching and quality assurance activities with other members of the clinical department. Deliver direct patient care. Provide quality direct/indirect patient care clinically, administratively and/or academically. Supports and adheres to the Cancer Care Northwest Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. The services rendered will be delegated by the supervising radiation oncologist and in accordance with the policies established by the department of radiation oncology and Cancer Care Northwest existing policies.
