About The Position

The Army Aviation Program (PMO) Travel / Deployment Coordinator (PMO) is responsible for guiding candidates through the full pre-deployment lifecycle for overseas assignments. This role ensures all administrative, compliance, and logistical requirements are completed accurately and on time, delivering a seamless deployment experience while maintaining strict adherence to company and government requirements. The coordinator partners cross-functionally with Recruiting, Security, HR, Travel and Operations to ensure candidates are fully prepared for deployment and all pre-deployment milestones are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, Communications, or related field OR High School Diploma with Eight (8) or more years of relevant travel/deployment experience.
  • Must have a minimum of Two (2) years of experience in travel coordination, deployment, or customer service.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities with limited supervision.
  • Effective communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills are a must.
  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Govt Secret Security Clearance.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials and authorization.
  • US Citizenship is required to hold a US Govt Secret Clearance, and facility credentials and authorization to work on this program.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of U.S. Department of State travel requirements and international travel logistics is preferred.
  • Experience with applicant tracking (ATS) Workday and/or deployment systems (SPOT).
  • An active Secret Clearance is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Guide candidates through the full pre-deployment process from offer acceptance to start date.
  • Coordinate medical, security and readiness requirements to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Process and track visas, passports, Common Access Cards (CACs) and Letters of Authorization (LOA's) for deployment.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for CONUS and OCONUS employees.
  • Manage CRC (DIDC) Deployment training requirements and maintain accurate tracking of candidate status.
  • Maintain and manage email distribution lists.
  • Partner with Security, HR, Recruiting and Operations to meet timelines.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete and submitted by deadline.
  • Perform other qualified duties as assigned.
