About The Position

The Distribution Coordinator at Eastern Industrial Supplies oversees all activities associated with the PVF Distribution Process. This role involves managing associates, contributing to filling orders, receiving and storing product, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials, and delivering materials and parts to specific locations as needed. The coordinator ensures the branch quality management system continuously delivers products and/or services that meet or exceed customer expectations while maintaining ISO 9001 requirements. Additionally, the position manages and directs the performance of a team of Distribution Associates and Delivery Drivers.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
At least 1 year of related supervisory experience, ideally in a warehouse or distribution center environment that utilizes RF technology
Strong comfort level with using computers on a daily basis
A current and valid driver's license
Must live within a reasonable distance from the Distribution Center
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
Must be able to perform functions such as crouching, kneeling, and balancing
