About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring an Armed Security Supervisor in Baltimore, Maryland. The role involves protecting people and property by patrolling sensitive areas, monitoring for suspicious activity, verifying identities, controlling access to secure areas, and responding to alarms, threats, and incidents. The position requires standing and walking throughout the shift and may involve collaborating with law enforcement during serious incidents.

This is a full-time evening schedule from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Thursday through Sunday, for 32 hours per week. The hourly wage is $24.57. GardaWorld provides a uniform at no cost and offers career growth opportunities. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Have a valid wear and carry license.
• Have at least 2 years of armed experience.
• Have at least 2 years of supervisor experience.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have prior security experience.
• Have a valid security license or be able to obtain one.

Nice To Haves

• First aid certification is an asset.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to identify suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• Respond quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
